Q. How much does Travel ID cost?
A. Each ID Wristband and Card costs only £2. Included with each band is the service of the Travel ID 24 hour Contact Telephone Centre, so if your child is on holiday with you, with their club or on a school trip, if a they become separated from the main party they need only ask for someone to call our number shown on the band and you and/or the party leader will be informed within minutes.

Q. How does Travel ID know how to contact me?
A. When you buy Travel ID wristbands or Cards, we ask you to complete a very short Contact Information Form. The only details we must have are your name, contact number and email address. All other information is entirely voluntary. You can provide us with additional contacts, medical and allergy details, holiday itineraries and much more if you wish.
The wristbands and Cards you receive have a Unique Identity Number which is logged with your details so that in a crisis we simply match the Identity number to your details and telephone you immediately, anywhere in the world.

Q. I'm concerned about my privacy. What information do I have to give you?
A. Although most information is entirely voluntary, we do need a small minimum of data to ensure that we can contact you in an emergency situation. Compulsory information includes:
- Main Contact's name
- Main Contact's telephone number (Mobile is best)
- Email address (to confirm registration)
- Password (required if you wish to add, delete or update your details)
All other information is entirely voluntary. However the more contacts and information on your registration the better equipped we are to assist.

Q. Who has access to my contact information?
A. You and 2 senior Travel ID Directors are the only people able to access your account. However, our Directors will NEVER access your account unless requested by you or in the case of a missing or injured family member.

Q. Can I use the service for more than one holiday?
A. So long as your child or family member is carrying or wearing a Travel ID product they are covered and protected 24 hours a day.

Q. Can Travel ID cover my children when playing outside at home?
A. Travel ID covers anybody carrying our ID wristbands, Cards or Keyrings 24 hours a day. Simply ensure you child is carrying an ID with them at all times and should they be injured or lost even at home, Travel ID will contact you within minutes of being informed.

Q. Can I get additional wristbands and ID cards?
A. Yes. Wristbands and Cards can be purchased either online at www.travel-id.com, by email at sales@travel-id.com or call 0845 033 9533 to speak with us directly.

Q. Can I cover more than one person or child?
A. Of course. Once you have your wristbands or Cards, the unique Identity numbers are registered to you. Therefore simply use one Identity method per child per trip. Both the wristbands and cards are designed to last for at least the duration of an average 2 week trip.

Q. How long does Travel ID keep my contact details?
A. Unless you request that we delete your details we will normally keep them for 12 months. However prior to removing your details we will contact you by email to ask if you would prefer us to keep them. We do not charge for keeping you details if you still have unused Wristbands or Cards.

Q. What if I forget my password?
A. If you forget your password please call 0845 003 9533 and we can deal with your request over the telephone.

Q. What happens if my family does become separated or lost?
1. Immediately obtain & record the unique ID number on the wristband or card.
2. Record all details of the caller and when possible call them back wherever in the world they are.
3. If required we will provide medical and/or allergy information to medical or emergency personnel if this information was supplied to us.
4. Alert all contacts on the registration including parents, teachers, scout leaders etc that the child has been found and arrange for all parties to be reunited as soon as possible
5. Continue to liaise with both parties until you are happy and reunited with your family.
6. If the situation warrants it, Travel ID will also inform any authorities such as the British Consulate or your holiday company so that they can provide on site assistance

Q. Can Travel ID help search for lost people
A. No. Travel ID is not a police or detective agency. Travel ID can only become involved once contacted. However this does increase the chances of being reunited with your child or family quickly as the vast majority of people will help a child in distress. The bright colour of the wristbands will also assist in sightings should this be necessary.

Q. Are the Travel ID emergency lines open 24 hours
A. Our telephone lines are open 24 hours a day, every day of the year. Even if your mobile is switched off or without a signal, we will email you, text you and continue contacting all other listed contacts and if necessary local authorities and group leaders. Travel ID does will keep trying to contact you every 15 minutes until you are fully reunited.

Q. How do I use Travel ID to protect against losing my passport?
A. We can supply Identity Stickers free of charge with any purchase. Simply place a sticker onto the rear cover of your passport. Most people finding a passport are keen to return it to the owner. However despite having your name and photo inside, actually returning it to you is almost impossible and even if handed into a police station the paperwork and waiting can take days. Once called, Travel ID will notify you where your passport is and continue to liaise with you until it has been recovered.

Q. If I buy online or by phone, how do I receive my ID Wristbands or Cards?
A. All purchases are despatched within 24 hours by standard Royal Mail. If your trip or holiday is within a week of purchase please contact us to arrange Special Delivery. Your Unique Identity Numbers are automatically added to your contact details.

Q. Can I choose the colours of my Wristbands?
A. Yes. When providing your contact details enter into the "Which ID Accessories do you require" section. If left blank we will automatically send you 4 mixed colour ID Wristbands and 1 ID cards per every 5 ordered.
